Finding the correct coilover specification to suit your vehicle       After years of experience trying other coilover brands, we found it necessary to be able to supply the correct coilover specification to suit the vehicle and the drivers expectations.  Speedfactor offers XYZ coilovers in Super Sport, Racing Spec, Tarmac Rally Spec and Drifting Spec.  We offer the Super Sport Coilover for those wanting to lower the vehicle and improve stability for road use but still usuable for the odd track day.  We have two competition spec coilovers for Circut Racing, Tarmac Rally and Driftng.  The competition coilovers have substantial differences in their structure and are designed for non road applications.  We can tailor the coilovers set up with a desired spring rate to suit the vehicles weight & handling characteristics instead of the restrictions you face when buying a kit in a box.  Most McPhearson strut designs incorporate alloy camber plates for the front, allowing easy tuning of the suspension to get desired settings.  Super sport have options to have a rubber supported spherical bearing in the front to enable a more durable and cuisioned ride for quieter operation.  Often knocking can occur from spherical bearings under road driving conditions, and the bonded rubber helps prevent this from occurring. Rear mounts are alloy with bonded bush and some applications may use OE mounts. Most manufacturers and models can be catered for, please inquire for specifics. Racing and Tarmac Rally Sec Coilovers Racing & Tarmac Rally Spec Coilovers have sustantial increases in bump and rebound shock absorber valving, giving superior control over the increase spring rates. Designed specifically for circuit and tarmac racing, the optimum balance of spring rate can be selected to suit the 30 way adjustable shock absorbers. Both front and rear units have Spherical bearing (pillow ball) mounts with the fronts incorporating camber control for complete adjustability. We carry additional springs in varying rates to help you get the desired setup for each circut. Drifting Spec Coilovers Drifting Spec Coilovers have a stronger structure incorporating 55mm inverted shock absorber designed for the front struts, allowing control over the spring deflection often the main cause of shock absorber failure. The Drift Spec coilover has a careful selection of optimum spring rates. The lower front strut mounts are steel for added strength, with the typical spherical bearing (pillow ball) top mounts front and rear, incorporating front camber control. Unlike many other coilover brands where the street version is sold for competition use, we recommend a true motorsport drifting coilover designed specifically to DRIFT. XYZ COILOVERS Bilstein Shock Absorbers Simply one of the best shock absorbers available on the market, Bilstein shock absorbers have superb bump and rebound valving control because of their sensitivity to react over variable surface conditions.  The shock absorbers' speed sensitive pistons only have to move 2mm for it to react and the faster it moves the firmer it becomes. (Self adjusting).  Most other gas charged shock absorbers loose efficiency over time and can fail prematurely by simply not being able to withstand the required road conditions.
