Supertech produces its stainless valves in a nitride coating with stock size and over size options available for many common import and European engines. Made as a one piece forged valve for higher strength and reliability.
Supertech use mostly EV8 (21-4N) for Intake and Exhaust valves but there are other alloys that we use along with different heat treatments to manufacture valves for different applications. Other hard metal alloys may be welded to harden certain areas like the tips or seats.
Inconel is one of the highest quality valve materials available on the market today. The extreme engine temperatures of high power and torque race applications require the optimum components for reliability and durability.
Supertech valve springs are made with premium Super-clean Chrome Silicon Vanadium Steel alloy for higher performance and
durability at high rpms and for better memory.
Computer design helps ensure that wire stress levels do not surpass their limits and provide solid durability under extreme conditions. Advanced computer software also allows Supertech to ensure harmonics are well under control.
Supertech provides Titanium retainers to suit most of the spring applications. Designed mainly as a race product and also to offer correct installed spring heights. All Supertech retainers are manufactured with high quality military certified Titanium alloy and CNC machined.
Supertech valve guides are precision-machined from high quality Manganese Bronze material. These guides in combination with the low friction black nitrided valves provides the best solution for performance and durability. For Exhaust guides for high powered engines that need a better thermal transfer coefficient, we use a copper alloy. Copper has about 3 times higher thermal transfer than Manganese Bronze.
Supertech Bucket cam followers are designed using the latest CATIA CAD software and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for the high demanding conditions of endurance racing, road racing or drag racing.
They cannot be compared in any sense with the cheaper, extruded or factory supplied lifters due to the superior materials, coatings and superb manufacturing that is only found at a Formula 1 level.
Supertech forged pistons are manufactured from extrude high silicone T6 4032 alloy which features low thermal expansion, excellent wear resistance and high thermal conductivity.
Supertech pistons are coated with a phosphate dry lubricant which enhances lubrication on the skirt and cylinder walls and offers protection for the rings from micro welding under extreme temperatures.
All Supertech pistons are supplied with NPR piston rings manufactured in Japan
Supertech valve train components are available for many European and Japanese engine applications.
